It may be a dull ache, or a sharp or piercing or burning sensation. The pain may be felt in the neck (and might radiate into the arm and hand), in the upper back, or in the low back, (and might radiate into the leg or foot), and may include symptoms other than pain, such as weakness, numbness or tingling.
Back pain is one of humanity's most frequent complaints. In the U.S., acute low back pain (also called lumbago) is the fifth most common reason for all physician visits. About nine out of ten adults experience back pain at some point in their life, and five out of ten working adults have back pain every year.

The Problem with Whiplash

Everyday hundreds of auto accidents occur, and the occupants are injured. Fortunately, the majority of the victims of these violations are not fatal injuries. That is the good news. The bad news is most of the inmates suffer injuries that they may not be aware of or are mistreated by other doctors.

The "The problem with Whiplash" is that very few people really understand the sense it.

Well emergency room doctors, general physicians and Many chiropractors do not fully appreciate the extent of the damage to these patients. A recent survey revealed that a significant percentage of family doctors and orthopedic practice question of the validity of Whiplash. [I]

Worse still, the doctors can not prove the insurance companies, lawyers and juries that the injuries are real. The end result is that whiplash victims are too short in view of the poor documentation, inadequate treatment, and low compensation for their first injuries.

The to realize what kind of whiplash injuries is that they are real. The current medical literature is filled with objective validation of the research of this type of injury. [Ii] Further, the research findings indicate that injuries can occur at slow speeds and sometimes surprising car without much damage. [Iii] Next, Whiplash injuries can remain hidden for weeks, months and even years before the telltale symptoms. [IV]

Another fact to recognize about Whiplash is that they meant business. Even minor accidents can cause major changes in the delicate nerves, tendons, muscles and discs of the neck. At the beginning, the problems may seem minor, but enough time, without the proper care, the spine is dysfunction. Finally arthritis occurs and the end result is the permanent neurological damage and the loss of a total health.

Worse as arthritis, whiplash injuries can lead many mild forms of skull-brain known as "post-concussion syndrome" or "skull-brain trauma" . This is more common in Zusammenstaen side, but can occur on the back side or front-end as well as accidents. This concussive injuries often without the head. Still other researchers have Alzheimer's disease in conjunction with fibromyalgia and chronic whiplash injury. Whiplash is indeed a serious health problem.

Whiplash need to be treated. Contrary to what most insurance company reps will say that these violations are not simply off on their own. But not all treatments. Harte medical evidence suggests that certain kinds of treatment are far superior in the treatment of this problem. [IV]

A study by Woodward, Cook, Gargan and Bannister [v] found 93% of patients under chiropractic care for chronic whiplash injury had improved. They further stated that "... no conventional treatment (medical) has proven to be effective for these chronic cases."

Without understanding of these basic truths about Whiplash, the general population is at the mercy of the insurance industry. The insurance companies know the facts, and they spend millions of dollars each year to hide. They use high-powered lawyers in the fight against demands and intimidation people.

If They were injured in a car accident, it is important to remember Whiplash is real, it is serious and it must be dealt with properly. The key to successful treatment of whiplash injuries to find a medical provider, which specialises in this area and has a long experience to help accident victims back from their injuries.
