Back pain (also known "dorsalgia") is pain felt in the back that may originate from the muscles, nerves, bones, joints or other structures in the spine.
The pain may have a sudden onset or it can be a chronic pain, it can be felt constantly or intermittently, stay in one place or refer or radiate to other areas. It may be a dull ache, or a sharp or piercing or burning sensation. The pain may be felt in the neck (and might radiate into the arm and hand), in the upper back, or in the low back, (and might radiate into the leg or foot), and may include symptoms other than pain, such as weakness, numbness or tingling.
Back pain is one of humanity's most frequent complaints. In the U.S., acute low back pain (also called lumbago) is the fifth most common reason for all physician visits. About nine out of ten adults experience back pain at some point in their life, and five out of ten working adults have back pain every year.

Can Spinal Injections Stop My Back Pain?

The thought of someone holding a needle in my back does not excite me. Especially when the needle instead of a human sees. But if a spinal injections, the pain returned and let me lead a normal life, I am willing to try it. If this sounds like you, and you are desperately seeking a way to prevent your pain, then read on.

So just what is a spinal injection? Basically a needle in the epidural space surrounding the vertebrae and a solution of anti-inflammatory and /or steroid drugs in the room. The idea is to block the pain, give you some relief and give your doctor a better idea of what the problem is. Although not as invasive surgery, as there is a risk, and you should contact your doctor.

In my case, I decided not to opt for the injections. I is based on three reasons.

1. I do not like needles! Seriously two of my friends had injections. First, the back pain two days after the shot and was on the other hand, he was pain free for six months, but finally had to see a different picture.

2. In my particular case, the surgery was the best option.

3. The recording can be the exemption for a while, but do not heal, whatever the cause of the pain.

They are, said the procedure is effective in temporarily stopping the pain. Once this happens, then the next thing, to physical therapy or an exercise system to ensure the underlying condition. One of the top programs in the loss of the back pain system developed by doctors and therapists of the healthy back institute. This program has helped thousands through the strengthening of the muscles and the removal of the muscle imbalance.

Other times, the problems can start after an accident or a fall. Whatever the cause, most doctors usually offer the same remedies for the treatment of pain in conjunction with either surgery or a regime of exercises and stretches over back pain. However, these treatments rarely actually makes the pain because it is not based on what is actually the cause of the pain. Most of the pain, whether it is the fault of an accident or a physiological problem that is actually a muscle imbalance.

Can exercises are really the problems?

Strengthen the wrong muscles, the muscle imbalance worse and lead to an increase in pain. You need a program that allows you to determine your exact Muscle imbalance and you say, then how to fix it.
