Back pain (also known "dorsalgia") is pain felt in the back that may originate from the muscles, nerves, bones, joints or other structures in the spine.
The pain may have a sudden onset or it can be a chronic pain, it can be felt constantly or intermittently, stay in one place or refer or radiate to other areas. It may be a dull ache, or a sharp or piercing or burning sensation. The pain may be felt in the neck (and might radiate into the arm and hand), in the upper back, or in the low back, (and might radiate into the leg or foot), and may include symptoms other than pain, such as weakness, numbness or tingling.
Back pain is one of humanity's most frequent complaints. In the U.S., acute low back pain (also called lumbago) is the fifth most common reason for all physician visits. About nine out of ten adults experience back pain at some point in their life, and five out of ten working adults have back pain every year.

Sitting - The Scourge of Modern Man

Everyone in modern society is. Most people sit down for long periods. It is almost impossible to avoid using computers, cars and sofas, that the norm in many peoples lives. Many people will wake up, sit down and eat breakfast, sit in the car and drive to work, sit at their desk and working at the computer all day, sit back in their car and go home and sit on the couch . fernsehen But not many people ask how this can have an adverse effect on their health and their quality of life.

There are two major ways that sitting is bad a -, is sitting in an abnormal posture, and two, if we do not share, we are moving.

What do I mean by sitting is an abnormal posture? We sit all day. How can it be abnormal?

Let's look at the design of the human body.

So when you sit your head just an inch forward to the muscles, ligaments and bones of the neck support under 10 kg, which means they have to work twice as hard.

No wonder that our neck and shoulder muscles are tight there towards the end of the day! Some people who work the muscles so hard that they can never relax, to chronic tension, headache leads, neck pain, shoulder pain, and the list goes on.

When we sit, we are not moving. And movement is a genetic condition for our body to be healthy. It is impossible for us to move perfectly well without him.

Research done by the British Chiropractic Association reveals that almost one third of people watch more than 75% of their life spent sitting. That's more than 10 hours per day. Resulting in more than 32 years of our life!

When we sit, we are not moving, and if we are not moving, our bodies do not produce the desired movement of nutrients they need. Think about it. How do you feel after you've spent the whole day, conservation of energy and enough to eat. Did you feel excited or watch rather go home and laze on the couch? Why should you feel tired, if you have not used much energy? It is because the body does not always provide the necessary motion and it does not work properly!

So, what can you do about it? Now there are some simple tips and techniques you can use to maximize the negative impact of this meeting to your health and minimize the effectiveness of your work day. The use for only 20 seconds to 20 minutes will make a big change, and break out of the slumped forward posture. This is known as the 20/20 rule. Make movement a part of your daily life, take the stairs instead of the elevator, park farther away and go, just remember to move!
